Our first stop is the beautiful Scotchmans Hill Vineyard in Drysdale. With plantings dating back to the early 1980's, they are one of the oldest vineyards on the peninsula. They're a consistently solid producer of pinot noir and chardonnay especially and provide an excellent range of wines, from easy to drink now styles through to those with some added complexity. A generous cheese platter accompanies the wine tasting. We then travel to the Jack Rabbit Vineyard for lunch in their light filled restaurant. With its pretty bay views and cuisine, it's a pretty setting to enjoy your two course meal. Post-lunch, it's a short transfer through to the Bellarine Distillery for a tasting of 3 of their gins.
