Departing from Melbourne cbd, travel through the bush laden suburbs to the world-famous Healesville Sanctuary, one of Australia's most recognised and acclaimed wildlife sanctuaries. With 30 hectares of bushland, it showcases more than 200 species of Australian wildlife in a distinctly Australian setting. Here, visitors can enjoy some of Australia's most unique and captivating wildlife in their natural habitat, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, dingoes, birds of prey and platypus.
We then travel to the Dominique Portet Vineyard for a well deserved main course a la carte lunch, glass of wine and coffee prior to a selected tasting of their exquisite estate wines. Being a 10th generation French wine making family, there's no doubting the quality of their production under the careful eye of Ben Portet.
The day concludes at the family owned De Bortoli Vineyard where a tasting of their estate and premium wines will be paired with suitable cheeses.
