We start the day at 8:30am and travel through Melbourne's south-east to the cool climate and maritime influenced Mornington Peninsula wine region. The first stop is at the Yabby Lake Vineyard wo were established in 1998. They produce consistently good wines from both estate and regional grown grapes. These include Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.

A short drive away is the quirky Quealy Vineyard at Balnarring. With an interest in Italian inspired wines, their approach is a little left of centre and will leave an impression. A cheese platter will enhance the tasting.

Close by is the Merricks General Store where a relaxed a la carte lunch in rustic surroundings can be enjoyed prior to post-lunch wine tastings at Ten Minutes by Tractor. The day concludes at Alba Thermal Hot Springs before the return to Melbourne.
