We start at 8:30am and travel through to the world-famous Healesville Sanctuary, one of Australia's most recognised and acclaimed wildlife sanctuaries. With 30 hectares of bushland, it showcases more than 200 species of Australian wildlife in a distinctly Australian setting. Here, visitors can experience close-up encounters with some of Australia's most unique and captivating wildlife in their natural habitat, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, dingoes, birds of prey and platypus.

Departing the Sanctuary, we travel to the Medhurst Vineyard at Gruyere for a tasting of their estate wines that's enhanced with some olives and local cheese.

Enroute to lunch, there's a brief stop at Domaine Chandon prior to arriving at the Valley's first vineyard, Yering Station, for a pre-lunch wine-tasting in the original redbrick winery (circa 1859) building surrounded by artworks and local produce. Enjoy lunch in their stunning contemporary restaurant with farmland and mountain views and cuisine. 

The day concludes with a visit to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie.
