Travel through the bush laden suburbs of the north-east enroute to the day's first stop, the De Bortoli Vineyard at Dixons Creek. It's an elegant start with a lovely selection of estate wines paired with local and imported cheeses.

It's then a short drive to the Yering Station Vineyard for a tasting of their estate and reserve wines in the historic cellar door (circa 1859) prior to lunch in their stunning Wine Bar Restaurant. With its world class views and cuisine, you’ll have an a la carte selection from which to select your main course meal. After lunch, transfer through to Chateau Yering, the historic 1854 property that was reborn in 1997 as a gracious 5 star country hotel. Settle in to your Melba Suite accommodation and the hotel's facilities before dinner in the elegant surrounds of Eleonore's Restaurant.

Your second day in the Valley starts with breakfast in the light filled Sweetwater Cafe. The remainder of the morning is free for you to relax before meeting our driver and group for lunch in the Yering Station Wine Bar Restaurant. The a la carte menu offers terrific variety which ensures there'll be something new to consider.

Post lunch, you'll travel across to the Payten & Jones Winery in Healesville.Taste their small batch, approachable wines that include familiar chardonnay and pinot noir as well as some Mediterranean varietals.

Nearby is the Coldstream Hills Winery at Coldstream. Established by James Halliday, one of Australia’s leading authors and commentators on wine, the wines are beautifully crafted and have enjoyed success at numerous wine shows, especially the chardonnay and pinot noir.

The day concludes at the charming Medhurst Vineyard. Established in 1999, the family owned vineyard of 35 acres has a delightful elevation in the foothills of the Warramate Ranges and produces a small selection of elegant table wines.

Indicative time of departure on Day 1 would be 8:30am with drop off on Day 2 around 6:30pm but these will be confirmed prior to the date of travel. Pick up is from your city hotel or from another agreed point. If you are staying out of the city, Melbourne Town Hall, which is located in the city on the corner of Swanston & Collins Sts would be the central meeting point.

Please note, on days when Coldstream Hills is closed (Tue, Wed & Thu) and Medhurst is closed (Tue & Wed), visits would instead be made to Oakridge and Punt Road Vineyards.
